This position will interact and serve as a liaison for patients, specialists, University Healthcare Hospital Providers, faith based organizations, grass root organizations and external community partners and agencies in two counties. Primary responsibility is to do community outreach by recruiting participants for various programs and screenings with the intent of increasing the volume of screened clients to detect early stage cancer. Assist cancer patients to understand their diagnosis and available treatment options. Will be the first point of contact for clients providing information and support. Ability to communicate across disciplines effectively. Excellent customer service skills and excellent organizational skills required. Bachelors in Healthcare Related Field with prior medical experience required, MSN or Masters in Healthcare related field preferred. Must have public speaking skills, must be computer literate, will work with a diverse group of people, excellent time management skills, networking and teamwork skills, and knowledgeable of community resources, minimum of two to three years management experience preferred.
