Job Responsibilities
Among other things, the successful candidate will:

Be responsible for the overall design and management of a company-wide ethics and compliance program that meets the criteria of the federal sentencing guidelines and other relevant legal standards
Lead the day-to-day operation of the program, including external vendor interface.
Promote the companys Code of Conduct and determine what supporting policies and guidelines are required. Develop, maintain and update policies and guidelines.

Provide guidance to and support the administration of Avayas global compliance council.
Assess the effectiveness of the compliance program through both internal surveys/audits/benchmarks and, if desired and appropriate, external evaluators.
Prepare reports on the effectiveness of the program for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and target areas for improvement.
Monitor developments in ethics and compliance.
Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and standards of contact by evaluating or recommending investigative procedures and remedial measures, where appropriate.
Anticipate and identify complex business needs and recommend solutions to complex problems.

Ability and willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
Equivalent work experience strongly preferred
