The Director of Auto Product will maintain visibility with the senior leadership team and be responsible for creating and sustaining competitive advantage in the marketplace through establishing, communicating and executing the vision for the growth and development of the Auto Appraisal Product. The role will focus on understanding and developing methodologies around improving customer experience and outcomes, while managing process design, planning, system function design and continuous improvement programs. Responsibilities: * Lead the implementation and post-implementation phases of new programs and initiatives. Conducts analysis and reports findings to management * Negotiates deliverables and holds project team members accountable for meeting deadlines to deliver high quality and timely project outcomes * Develops subject matter expertise to make recommendations to key stakeholders * Partners closely with appraisal product channel leads, field management, training, and Claims Technology to execute on targeted and countrywide initiatives * Assists in the implementation of Lean principles (LMS). Acts as primary Continuous Improvement contact and presents findings and provides recommendations to project leadership and upper management * Responsible for data investigation and analysis to create business cases for project justification * Leads or assists in development of slide decks/presentation material for presentations within the APD product team and upper management * Identify ways to leverage data and information to improve claims handling process and operational results. Utilize advanced data mining and analytics to implement exception based claims handling strategy and processes * Develop and define data driven claims handling strategy to optimize our claims decision making strategies and processes * Develop and implement measurement systems to monitor the effectiveness of business process improvement initiatives and the impact on financial performance metrics * Collaborate with all levels field operations stakeholders to generate excitement, promote engagement, create alignment and establish the partnership needed for success * Align with auto product line senior leadership on an ongoing basis to identify analysis needs, determine scope, prioritize work, set production timelines and present findings/recommendations. * Performs or coordinates special projects as requested
Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training * MBA/Master’s Degree, CPCU preferred * 5-7 years of related experience * Advanced skill level in Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to manage projects with aggressive deadlines/time-sensitivity * Effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and making presentations * Effective analytical/problem solving and research skills * Openness to continuous improvement environment and ongoing development Benefits: We recognize that talented people are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages and outstanding advancement opportunities.
