Truck Dealership Job Scope:
The Division Manager will be responsible for keeping the day to day operation of the Division-s operations in compliance with established policies and procedures. He will plan, direct, and control all activities of the division profit centers through department managers; Staffs and trains department managers, as required; Formulates the major objectives, specific policies, plans, procedures, and programs for the Division-s operations; works closely with department managers to achiever to achieve specific plans and goals; provides assistance to department managers in the development of specific performance targets, programs, and plans in accordance with Company goals and objectives; evaluates each department-s operating results and performance against pre-determined objectives; assists department managers with major, target or critical accounts. This job is located SW of Morgantown off of I-79 about 30 miles. It is a commutable distance from several of the towns in the area. If the successful candidate is beyond a reasonable commuting distance then a relocation allowance will be available for those candidates who live in the regional area based on a radius of 150 miles or so.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assesses present and future needs, trends, problems, and profit opportunities
- Establishes short and long term operating and financial objectives
- Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied
- Formulates annual and monthly business plan, sales/profit objectives and expense budgets
- Develops merchandising strategies with the department managers to ensure that objectives are obtained
- Ensures the branch is in compliance with local, state and federal governmental regulations that affect operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Maintains appropriate communications within and between various departments and functional areas within the Division
- Establishes and maintains satisfactory customer and public relations to encourage repeat and referral business
- Develops and trains department managers and reviews and appraises their performance
- Ensures the organizational structure of the branch is efficiently planned and adequately and competently staffed
- Serves as liaison with factory representatives
- Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor-s Degree preferred
- Previous management experience required
- Prior experience in truck dealership operations
- Truck sales experience is a big plus
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Requires strong leadership ability and decision making skills Pay /
