Yelp is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive: Brand Solutions for our Display & Mobile Business.  This is a New Business role on our Brand Solutions Sales Team at Yelp in our Western territory. Reporting up to the West Coast Manager – Brand Solutions, the Senior Account Executive will be a part of the Brand Solutions Sales Team, working primarily with large companies as well as ad agencies to drive new business.

We’re looking for someone to cover the Western region that has established agency and client relationships with previous success in generating new business (read hunter, not farmer). That means you are an experienced media sales professional with a proven track record of increasing revenue & generating new revenue in online display and sponsorship advertising. Search and directory and audience sell advertising experience are a plus.

About the job:

* Engage and strategize with senior executives at large client organizations to drive new business revenue for Yelp
* Work closely at both strategic and tactical levels within ad agencies
* Create professional and actionable sales presentations
* Get ahead of the buying curve by creating budget and directing media spends
* Exceed your sales goals and pricing targets by selling the Yelp story and audience

About you:

* 3-5 years of online media sales experience
* You like developing new business vs. farming an existing book of business
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Relationships with top marketing decision makers in the F1000 and major ad agencies a plus
* Existing relationships or experience working with VP’s, SVP’s, and CMO’s on both client and agency sides are preferred
* Proven track record of over-achievement and growing a territory from the ground up
* Demonstrated experience in structuring, winning, and managing complex deals
* Someone who can be independent and highly self-motivated
* Be fearless, relentless, and have an underdog mentality with an unwillingness to settle for anything less than your best
