11. Runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
12. Administers critical analyses of test results and delivers solutions to problem areas.
13. Generates statistical analysis and reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
14. Assists in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
15. Installs software products for end users, as required.
16. Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of the GED Web site and/or related Web applications, as necessary.
17. Consults with system administrators, systems specialists, and database administrators to assist in resolving problems with software products or GED software systems.
18. Presents ideas for system improvements including cost proposals.
19. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Working technical knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C# and Java.
2. Working technical knowledge of programming frameworks, such as .NET and Cocoa.
3. Working technical knowledge of scripting languages, such as JavaScript, Perl, and Python.
4. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
5. Working knowledge of current Internet technologies
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
9. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. Creative Web or interface design ability.
11. Ability to effectively prioritize, be detail oriented, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
12. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
13. Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers, servers, and peripherals weighing y 30 pounds.
14. Ability to sit or stand for extended period(s) of time.
15. Ability to travel as required.


1.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering AND two (2) years job related experience that includes
a.Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle;
b.Hands-on experience working in integrated development environments, such as Visual Studio, Net beans and Eclipse;
c.Extensive experience with Windows operating systems;
d.Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases; and
e.Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
OR any combination of academic education, professional training, or work experience approved by H.R. and Informational Technology Department.
2.Working technical knowledge of programming languages, such as C++ and Java; programming frameworks, such as .NET and Cocoa; and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl, Python and VBScript.
3.Must be able to lift y 30 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
4.Demonstrated track record of reliability, responsiveness and initiative.
5.Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
6.Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
7.Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.Experience in the gaming industry.
