Job Description:

PwC's Risk Assurance (RA) practice is composed of more than 2,300 resources with significant industry and technical expertise in a broad range of risk and compliance issues.

We help companies achieve the confidence needed for strong three lines of defense on risk by:

-Building and fortifying internal and IT risk controls
-Developing and strengthening risk and compliance programs
-Improving the capabilities of Internal Audit function

We draw proudly on our auditing heritage as well as our commercial experience to rigorously evaluate and implement a companies governance procedures, processes, information, and controls. We provide broad support across a business to elevate trust and transparency, protect the business and give all parties assurance that risks are fully anticipated, understood, and managed strategically.

PwC offers clients an end-to-end collection of solutions that focus on governance, risk management and compliance activities. The word "Performance" refers to the focus on assisting clients with optimizing and integrating their GRC activities and aligning these activities to a company’s respective performance agenda.

Compliance Services offers client services aimed at designing solutions through a sustainable strategy leveraging a principles-guided, scalable method that integrates corporate compliance and ethics activities into a manageable and sustainable process. This includes corporate compliance maturity assessments, compliance program builds, compliance program risk assessments, healthcare compliance services, managed compliance testing services, and conflict minerals compliance.

Position/Program Requirements:
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of proven success in roles within corporate compliance and ethics-related functions within the private sector or professional services industry

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree

Certification(s) Preferred: CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional)

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of, and prior success in roles involving, corporate compliance and ethics, which includes the following:
-Leading auditing and monitoring projects to address specific corporate compliance and ethics risks
-Following up on corrective actions in response to identified issues and audits
-Developing corporate compliance and ethics policies and procedures, emphasizing prior success in roles leveraging hotline protocols and investigation process and procedures
-Exhibiting familiarity with Federal Sentencing Guidelines
-Managing and evaluating professional staff

Proven prior success in business development within a professional services environment, emphasizing clinical, legal, auditing or other compliance areas.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrated proven extensive abilities and success to manage client engagements related to directing and implementing corporate compliance and ethics programs, including the following:
-Assisting on business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and signoff
-Utilizing consistent creative problem-solving abilities and consultancy mindsets while working on, as well as researching problems and/or issues and developing effective solutions for, clients' corporate compliance and ethics activities;
-Identifying and addressing client needs: build solid relationships with clients; develop an awareness of Firm services; approach client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; deliver clear requests for information; demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;
-Maintaining relationships and building credibility with companies and professional affiliations, organizations or networks within ethics and compliance;
-Conducting analyses that leverage creative and critical thinking and problem solving, as well as utilize consensus building skills to derive solutions through, utilizing information systems, databases, Excel and Microsoft Word;
-Developing strategy; as well as writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management
-Budgeting and forecasting on large engagements;
-Leading teams: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; participating in various staff recruitment and retention activities; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback; and
-Demonstrating flexibility and desire to travel, as client assignments require.
