Hot! It's a bakery! Fast pace. May be noisy. It is important to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Must be comfortable working in a warm environment. Must also be comfortable with temperature changes in the case you have to enter the freezer._QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTSFINGER DEXTERITY:

Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:

REQUIREMENTSREASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, to deal with problems involving a few variables, and to make independent decisions.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to communicate with employees and supervisor. _ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS SANITATION EMPLOYEES ($9.25 for 3rd shift employees)Adhering to all safety policies and procedures.Washes trays and racks.Cleans floors, ceilings, walls, and also facilities.Must be comfortable with a wet environment as well as being wet during shift. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES FOR GENERAL BAKERS(

NOTE:
All responsibilities do not apply to all departments. Although, safety procedures are ALWAYS mandatory to all employees)Assumes responsibility for proper production & packaging of products by following company procedures.Ensures all recipes are followed to the specifications of company.Ensures batching of all ingredients using established scaling method as directed.Mixes proper ingredients and uses proper weights according to company recipes.Properly set ups de-panning area; including fans, tables, conveyors, racks, and sprayer.When baking is complete, removes rack from the oven area and places rack in front of cooling fans at the de-panning area ensuring all racks in this area are directly in front of the fans.Returns empty racks to the end of the production line for reuse.Returns full carts to designated areas.Ensures there is adequate pan supply.De-pans product from pan and places product on trays at a consistent pace.Moves full racks to the wrapping departmentReviews production sheet to determine what type of box will be needed and quantity.Ensures necessary materials are on hand and informs lead person if they are not.Prepares and sets up the packing table.Ensures that tape/box sealing machine is ready and informs lead person if machine is not ready.Ensures product packages are sealed properly.Always checks for date code before packing.Packs product neatly into box at a steady, consistent pace packing whole box without missing any product coming off of the machine.Packs product in box uniformly and ensures they are in upright position.Ensures labels are in the same position/direction.Closes box flaps and sends box through sealing machine.Unwraps poorly wrapped product as soon as possible for re-wrapping.Tags pallets as they are completed with the customer name and/or attaches packing slip.Stretch wraps the completed pallets and, as required, places them in the freezer.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional and respectful working relations with employees.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with employees and supervisor.Keeps supervisor appropriately informed of any significant issues.Uses good judgment when making decisions.Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.Performs miscellaneous duties when necessary and assigned by the supervisor._SAFETY POLICY AND PROCEDURES Does not operate equipment without proper training.Covers or cleans spills of water, oil, etc.Always cuts away when using a knife.Does not throw any objects.Does not run in the building.When an injury occurs, immediately reports it to the supervisor.Assumes responsibility for certain sanitation procedures and adheres to all sanitation policies and procedures to ensure environment meets company standards of cleanliness.Maintains clean work area by cleaning during changeovers and down time.Places waste product in the appropriate container.Keeps boxes and inserts neat and orderly.Places trash in appropriate trash bin.     MVP Staffing is an equal opportunity employer..
