Job Details:

Required: High school diploma/GED and current CT registration as a Nurse's Aide. CNA 1: up to six months job-related experience; CNA 2: minimum of one year job-related experience and Data entry required. One year experience as Nursing Assistant 1 at WCHN, as well as a current PEP rating of "3" or better is required for internal candidates; applicable years experience outside WCHN will be considered for external candidates, and current BLS certification is required. Maintains all aspects of Nursing Assistant, Level 1; must be re-certified as NA 2 each year including BLS. Demonstrates competency in at least one additional function such as; phlebotomy, monitor tech, unit coordinator, or transfer mobility coach. Acts as preceptor as appropriate.
