Food & Nutrition Supervisor - Patient Food Service - Day/Evening

Be the second hand for newly recruited Executive Chef Pnina Peled, featured in the New York Times and on Food Network’s Chopped. Our Food & Nutrition Supervisor is responsible for of all aspects of patient experience relating to food services in our amenities unit. Inspire exceptional customer service and maintain the highest quality for our patients and staff. Create and test innovative recipes for our patients with special dietary restrictions. Oversee approximately 20 employees, coordinate requisitioning and purchasing for food and non-food supplies as required, and ensure compliance with institutional policies/procedures and regulatory agencies.

Key Criteria

Ideal candidates will have two to three years of supervisory experience as a Sous Chef in a hospitality setting. Preferred candidates will have a culinary degree or Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition. Five years of experience in food service supported by a high school diploma is required.

Must be able to work rotating days and evenings, varying holidays and weekends as needed.
