The AD-Arkansas Office represents the company as needed at national levels and at meetings with assigned clients. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Act as day-to-day contact for the Arkansas Medicaid Data Mining contract and oversee all contract-related project activities in the Arkansas Office, facilitate communication with HSAGs subcontractors, and maintain and monitor company-client relationships to ensure ongoing client satisfaction for assigned contracts and projects. Assist in the development of internal policies, procedures, and quality control processes that ensure scientifically sound and valid products. Prepare and deliver technical assistance and scientific presentations to corporate staff and to HSAG clients, managed care organizations, and their contractors. Accountable for ensuring completion of assigned analytic tasks according to contract specifications and that completed tasks meet client and budget requirements. Assist and conduct day-to-day project management tasks, including planning, budget analysis, staffing, communication (written and oral), coaching, and training for assigned projects. Provide leadership and be accountable for the project design, data abstraction and collection, monitoring, and report preparation for assigned projects. Assure timely and high quality contract deliverables, and be accountable for the development and adherence to project time and task schedules for assigned projects. Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of subordinate Arkansas Office staff. Assist in the drafting of responses to RFPs. Troubleshoot with other HSAG departments on project activities when necessary. Keep abreast of changes in the Medicaid managed care environment, database structures and current analytic methodologies, and communicate this information to health care analysts in the Arkansas Office and others within the company.  Masters degree in mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, public health or other related field. Minimum of five years management/supervisory experience in designing study protocols, databases, analytical plans, and reporting results in a health care setting. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS  Experience in managing operations of quality management activities. Quality improvement knowledge and analytical experience required. Comprehensive knowledge in healthcare-relevant statistics, research design, methodology, and data analysis. Advanced knowledge of statistical software and MS Office applications in a Windows environment. Knowledge in SAS preferred. Experience analyzing eligibility, claims/encounter, provider, health care survey, and other forms of health care data using SAS. Proven track record of evaluating processes and developing process improvement plans. Demonstrated proficiency in project management and developing client relationships.
