Description   Job duties include but are not limited to the following: The GuideWell Business Consultant implements defined strategic, growth, financial, and business plans in order to improve business outcomes and enhance operational excellence. Position is accountable for identifying and leading business initiatives designed to leverage assets of both the Enterprise and the entity and to create business and operational value for both organizations. Operational Efficiencies Facilitates planning and implementation of shared service and procurement opportunities to drive additional business or efficiencies out of the larger organization.Determines and clarifies strategic and operational problems via consultation.  Development Opportunities In conjunction with GuideWell Health Entity and Enterprise resources:Facilitates the testing and enhancement of innovative capabilities and business competencies that can be piloted and replicated in other markets and with other GWH entities. Works with internal and external resources to provide consultative and subject matter expertise and project management for GuideWell Health entities.Coordinates post-implementation review of projects to assess value realized and achievement relative to the business case and ROI.Guides, advises and provides on-site support for Entity as needed.Manages GuideWell Health Entity business process improvement plans with focus on improving outcomes.Assesses infrastructure, staff development and training needs, program development needs and compliance/risk management capabilities. Project Oversight Utilizes project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.Creates documents based on approved charters and project plans (work breakdown structures.)Tracks key milestones and adjust project plans, budget requests and/or resources as needed to address Entity needs and expected deliverables.Reports status of project (written, verbal, formal and informal presentations) to key staff.Identifies, negotiates, communicates and manages corrective action plans required to achieve project expectations.    

Job Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field6+ years related work experienceKnowledge of healthcare industry, particularly in the delivery system (physician practices, clinics)Experience working with external entities at the Senior Management LevelAbility to manage staff and deliverables in a matrixed environmentStrong consulting skills and ability to facilitate problem resolution processWorking knowledge of various components of the business (i.e. Service, Finance, Marketing, Product, etc.)Ability to understand and integrate external entities business models across an EnterpriseAbility to build and maintain strong business relationships  Key competencies required include: Strong written and verbal/presentation communication skillsStrong Leadership and change management skillsStrong initiative and results-orientationStrong Project Management skillsAbility to interact (with positive results) with a broad spectrum of internal and external individuals and departmentsTravel (including overnight)   Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills): MBA or Masters in Healthcare Administration Practice Management , ,
