POSITION SUMMARY
Assists in the management and direction of the organization toward its primary objectives, based on profit and return on capital, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the daily administrative duties of the venue in regards to payroll, accounting, inventory and other administrative duties.
Dispenses advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies and Managerial approval. Maintain morale by presenting oneself in a positive manner.

Must be able to complete such administrative task as payroll, purchase orders, deposits, receipt logs, daily recaps, and scheduling with accuracy and follow through.

Work to control cost of labor, cost of goods, and daily bonuses. Must work to control and report all shortages and overages.

Acts as lead manager while actual venue manger/assistant manager is off duty. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and represent the host client and SSI positively at all times. Uphold and enforce all SSI policies and procedures. Follow the proper chain-of-command when issues arise with staff or management.

Assists the venue manager /assistant manager in establishing and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the organization, including Corporate Office, via telephone, fax machine, email, and other methods of correspondence.

Must be able to perform all tasks required of the Production Assistants, Lab Technicians and Photographers working at the venue.

Takes payroll ledgers, figures and notations and processes them for the accounting department according to their specifications.

Properly represents the organization in its dealings with the venue, other vendors as we as clientele/guests of the venue.

Ensure cleanliness of all facilities, including, but not limited to, lab, sales area, restrooms, storage area, and productions areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages up to # employees. Assists the venue manager / assistant manager with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include (with supervision by the location manager) interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS
LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and/or public groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume. Must track, tri-weekly, inventory and chemistry. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work 40 hours or more as assigned and in compliance with state/federal wage and hour overtime laws.
WORK ENVIRONMENT - The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, depending on the location and venue, the employee may be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
