Serve as a consultant and mentor to healthcare team members in solving patient or care delivery system problems.

The Nurse Practitioner in this position will be scheduled to work five days a week. Twice a month, the Nurse Practitioner will work one weekend day in lieu of a weekday.

Qualifications:

*

Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure required.

*

Master’s degree in Nursing required.

*

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program required.

*

Nurse Practitioner certification by a national certifying organization required.

*

CPR certification required.

*

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to lead, teach, and interact effectively with healthcare personnel and families.

*

At least two years of experience as Nurse Practitioner focused on inpatient management of neurology patients strongly preferred.
