Civil Engineering – Officers in the Navy Civil Engineering Corps (CEC) head up vital Navy projects worldwide (including building runways, ports, bases and more) – and manage everything from construction plans to construction teams. Cyber Warfare Engineering – Cyber Warfare Engineering (CWE) Officers apply principles and techniques of computer science and computer engineering to research, design, develop, test and evaluate software and firmware for computer network attack, exploitation and defense in Cyberspace Operations. Aerospace Engineering – Aerospace Engineering Duty Officers (AEDOs) provide professional management and technical direction in the entire air weapon system acquisition process: the design, development, testing, procurement, engineering, production and logistic support of Naval aircraft, spacecraft and weapons. Aviation Maintenance – Aviation Maintenance Duty Officers (AMDOs) develop, establish and implement maintenance and material management policies and procedures to support naval aircraft, airborne weapons, attendant systems and related support equipment Fleet-wide.

Key Opportunities:
Positions include opportunities to work both at sea and ashore, and both at home and abroad. Assignments could involve working on-site at Naval shipyards; serving on board surface ships or submarines; or reporting to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, D.C., or the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego, Calif. Graduate or student of an accredited college or university in the United States or in a United States territory pursuing a BA, BS or MS (preferably majoring in mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry or other technical areas)
