Job Description:

*The Radar Systems Engineer supports SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic and the ATC radar, display, and processing systems or meteorological systems under its purview. He or she will provide on-site contract technical and engineering support and interface with Government representatives and Serco management personnel. The Radar Systems Engineer will support the Serco Program Manager (PM) in various aspects of contract performance to ensure appropriate engineering and technical performance of contractors and subcontractors. The Radar Systems Engineer participates in team meetings, technical summaries, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), working groups, and flight inspections as required. He or she assists the PM in formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor tasking and schedules, reviewing work discrepancies and assists in providing technical engineering leadership and direction for all contractor and sub-contractor personnel.This is not an active open position. Serco Inc. is using this posting for the purpose of building a pipeline of interested candidates for future anticipated positions with our company.

Experience:

*Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. Holding of a Secret (or higher) security clearance is a plus.Position requires a BS degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical/electrical/systems). Candidate must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in ATC or related systems engineering field to include technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of systems specification, systems analysis, systems architecture, systems/equipment integration, test and evaluation criteria, and logistics support of ATC and C4ISR requirements. Recognized as an expert in an ATC and/or C5ISR Systems Project.

Desired Skills:
Experience with US military or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ATC radar systems and/or ATC display and processing systems. Understanding of military ATC technical requirements and systems engineering processes is a major plus.

Miscellaneous Requirements:
Work will be primarily performed in an office but there might be field environments.Travel may be required depending requests by the customer.
