Qualifications

  • B.A or B.S.
  • Counseling experience (especially for substance abuse)
  • Credentialed Counselor Preferred (CADC, LPCA, LPCC)
  • Flexible hours

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnosis, treatment and assessment for clients with substance abuse
  • Conduct individual/group therapy sessions by utilizing various counseling theories such as cognitive behavior, rational emotive and reality therapy
  • Provide support to client and family
  • Complete treatment plans, progress notes and treatment plan reviews
  • Schedule clients for assessment and therapy sessions
  • Assist in all administrative documentation:  intakes, charting, billing
  • Provide drug screens as requested
  • Provide accurate reports by given deadlines
  • Prepare for Utilization Review
  • 20 CEU requirements per year
  • 4 hours of face-to-face clinical supervision per month with Clinical Supervisor
  • Complete one week of on the job training and orientation
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings
