The ideal candidate would be an NIH-funded researcher with expertise in clinical genetics, genomics, proteomics, or metabolomics.  Responsibilities are primarily conducting translational research within the Institutional Personalized Medicine Program and a part practice in pulmonology, cardiology, rheumatology, allergy or critical care medicine. A successful candidate will have completed (or be completing) a pediatric or medicine subspecialty fellowship from an outstanding academic program, possess superb clinical skills, and have a commitment to scholarship. Opportunity

• National Jewish Health is known for its state-of-the-art translational research in genetics, genomics, and metabolomics.  It serves as a tertiary/quaternary referral center for diagnosis and treatment of advanced pulmonary, rheumatologic, immune, and cardiovascular disease
• Short and medium term research focus includes, but is not limited to, secondary pulmonary hypertension, airway disease (COPD and Asthma), interstitial lung disease, immune deficiencies and allergic disorders, and rheumatoid associated lung disease

Financial Package

• This opportunity is an employed position within the Personalized Medicine Program in either the Department of Pediatrics or Medicine.
• Salary range is commensurate with experience according to the AAMC guidelines
• Malpractice insurance included
• Health and life insurance included
• Retirement plan included
• Moving expenses - paid up to one tenth of annual salary
• Vacation time – Full time faculty required to work 46 weeks per year.
