The SVP of Marketing, Consumer Information Solutions will be a key member of the CIS leadership team and will act as a partner with the President and key organization leadership to build and ingrain a strategic approach to marketing functions of the organization; ensuring revenue growth and profitability, increased market share, and innovation.

The SVP will oversee product development and marketing. This person will direct and lead the activities of 42 employees to achieve targeted financial performance, market share and competitive position.

As a key member of the executive team, the successful candidate will have several immediate priorities, including but not limited to:

• Provide focused leadership to the marketing organization that will foster success based on a culture of respect for the clients’ and employees’, integrity, collaboration and partnership, innovation and results.
• Effectively improve company culture. Hire, mentor, motivate and help develop a winning team
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting process to target department specific and organization-wide initiatives
• Partner closely with the Consumer Information sales team to enhance and implement new strategies and methodologies that will lead to deeper and broader account penetration and larger enterprise-wide contracts
• Understand the market drivers to help develop and launch new products that that will expand business opportunities

This individual will provide direction, which will enable the company to win customers through offering synergistic and valued products and services. In conjunction with the senior management team, s/he will support the company culture with an increasingly consultative and solutions-based philosophy and approach. Specific responsibilities for the Senior Vice President of Marketing will include:

• Exercise insightful judgment: Identifies and analyzes information to make decisions and solutions
• Think strategically and execute tactically: Evaluates the internal and external business environment to develop a long-term vision and strategy for the unit/organization and then leads the organization in its effective implementation
• Foster innovation: Champions new ideas and initiatives and creates an environment that supports innovation
• Hands-on and entrepreneurial style – one that looks to become personally involved in all elements of managing, and someone who seeks to develop like-minded senior managers with similar capabilities
• Structure of the work: Plans, executes, and improves work processes to ensure achievement of business goals.
• Focus on the customer: Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Executive presence: Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels within an organization, including the "CEO" and board level.
• Experience working in a global, matrix oriented organizational structure.
• Demonstrated strong collaborations skills in working across other BU’s, regions, to accomplish key goals.
• Experience working in a rapid change and quick decision environment

Qualifications
Requirements:
• An undergraduate degree is required. An advanced degree, ideally MBA, is highly desirable.
• 7-10 years successful management experience
• Understanding of credit services solutions, credit decisioning and credit scoring applications preferred
• Ability to establish consultative business relationships with existing and new clients
• Track record of leading and/or playing a significant role on a leadership team where new technology and information solutions were developed and launched into the marketplace.
• Demonstrated experience within a high growth and M&A focused organization
• Outstanding people management and developmental skills
• Ability to be viewed as an outstanding internal and external spokesperson and is equally comfortable talking with investors, employees, executive management team, and clients, possessing an ability to translate complex issues into easily understood terms.
• Demonstrated experience establishing crystal clear expectations
• Excellent organizational, goal setting, analytical and planning skills
• Ability to travel between 25% to 50%
