As an integral part of the Navy Medical Service Corps, you could lead personnel at one of the highly acclaimed National Naval Medical Centers. Provide administrative support aboard an aircraft carrier or a hospital ship, or in operational units worldwide. There are also distinct professional advantages:Increase your value to health-care systems, insurance organizations, nonprofit organizations (NPOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and others Advance and share expertise through collaboration opportunities with fellow Health Care Administration leaders Pursue opportunities not readily available in civilian practice (e.g., work on an aircraft carrier, in the field or in locations around the world) Acquire invaluable management experience as an administrative leader (Medical Service Corps Officer) Receive potential financial incentives (availability of offer depends on specialty) Receive paid training and access to Navy-funded continuing education Qualifications and

Required Education:
Master’s degree with a major in health care, hospital or health services administration (MHA), accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME); or master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in Health Care Administration, accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB); or master’s degree in public health accredited by CEPH in Public Health (Concentration in Administration)
