Each independent business has an incredibly successful track record and established customer base; it s now time to come together with the goal of transforming the way Visa engages with merchants through technology and innovation.As part of MAP s continued growth and expansion we are looking for talented, articulate and bright individuals who want to make a difference in the payments technology industry.Senior Director of Merchant and Acquiring Portfolio ManagementWe are looking for a talented portfolio management leader to build a team and lead the transformation of business planning and reporting activities within the Merchant and Acquiring Processing (MAP) product development (PD) group in the Visa Technology organization.The Sr. Director of Merchant and Acquiring Portfolio Management provides strategic and tactical leadership and oversight for creating, implementing, and driving efficient and effective planning, tracking, and reporting for the portfolio of programs and activities for MAP PD.This role leads the MAP PD portfolio management team that interfaces and collaborates with many stakeholder teams: Works collaboratively with agile PMO and development leads across MAP to ensure efficient, effective, best in breed practices are established for planning, reporting and oversight of the MAP portfolio building on agile methodologies; Works collaboratively with the broader technology Planning and Portfolio management team to ensure that planning and reporting are efficiently and effectively fed into the technology enterprise wide processes and systems that are based on traditional methodologies; Works collaboratively with business stakeholders ensuring alignment of plans and reports for the MAP portfolio;This role also leads the activities in collaboration with our finance partners to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective budgeting and forecasting. Devises and implements processes to provide executive management with transparency and real-time visibility into portfolio performance to enable effective and timely decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
-Establishes the team, strategy and practices leading to execution and delivery of planning for the MAP portfolio building on information available from the scrum process-Builds a portfolio team to deliver crisp, accurate, cohesive executive reports on the MAP portfolio-Establishes and monitors portfolio metrics, driving for success-Oversees the execution of workforce planning initiatives-Works closely with finance partners to ensure the successful delivery of financial inputs for MAP to align with corporate financial cycles-Works collaboratively to implement efficient practices, supporting our ability to focus on delivering business value, while providing the needed views at the executive level-Implements effective tools, templates, and models to accurately track and monitor progress of the MAP org towards portfolio delivery-Support, inspire and motivate team members to achieve results.Qualifications-Exceptional program and portfolio management skill in the leadership of multiple, complex initiatives that have significant impact to the organization s bottom line-Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to drive consensus in cross-functional teams-Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty-Deep experience in development and implementation of management reporting, metrics, and KPI s able drive solid solutions and lead, coach, and mentor others in this area-Ability to lead and influence decisions of others, including senior management-Ability to prioritize against many competing interests in an environment of constant change-Ability to serve as an advocate and thought leader-Strong Financial and Change Management expertise-Solid background in developing communications, briefings and presentations to C-level executives-Strong SDLC knowledge and experience: Agile and
