Supervises assigned crew members in the execution of well treatments as directed by PTL Line Management. Responsible for the leading and controlling the Service Delivery Process, to ensure PTL delivers to our customer’s safe, consistent and superior service quality while maximizing efficiency and minimizing cost.   -      Confirms personnel, equipment, chemical and bulk material accuracy prior to departure to well-site. -      Ensures all pre-job equipment inspections are performed and documented in accordance to DOT regulations and PTL policies. -      Organizes logistics of personnel and equipment movements for safe and efficient journeys. -      Evaluates competency of crew members and assigns job task accordingly for safe and effective service delivery. -      Assigns mentors to trainees and promotes cross-training of personnel. -      Participates in goal setting and performance appraisals of assigned crew members. -      Interacts with Client Representative and confirms accuracy of planned well treatment design. -      Performs necessary calculations to ensure fluid, chemical and material volume accuracy in accordance to job design. -      Reports to line management any discrepancies or changes to designed pump schedules prior to implementation. -      Program data acquisition computer, monitors job parameters and provides detailed reports of well treatment. -      Works with PTL Material Coordinators to provide timely and cost effective well-site delivery of bulk materials. -      Maintains accurate records of chemical and bulk materials at well-site for accurate inventory control and treatment invoicing. -      Provides Customer Representative with well treatment reports and billing estimates. -      Provides neat, complete and accurate documentation of well treatment to PTL Administrative staff in accordance to established guidelines. -      Actively promotes a culture of safety, service quality excellence and environmental awareness. -      Constantly evaluates the safety effectiveness of his/her crew by reporting of near-misses and analysis of accident trends. -      Strictly adheres to incident reporting guidelines relating to personal injuries, asset damage, service quality or environmental spills. -      Promptly responds or informs client of job related issues and effectively works to resolve without compromising the safety of location personnel.        Ensures that his/her crew complies with all PTL Standards & Policies as well as customer or external agency’s regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
o    Ability to solve basic algebra and mathematical equations. o    Ability to perform/direct routine maintenance of high pressure pumps and associated stimulation equipment. o    Ability to comprehend down-hole hydraulics and perform necessary calculations as related to fracturing treatments. o    Capable of leading, managing and accepting responsibility for a diverse team in varying environments. o    Demonstrates a strong culture of safety and service quality. o    Providing information to clients, supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. o    Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts. o    Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including MS Office applications.       Able to learn company specific applications.    

Minimum Requirements:
o High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years industry experience.  

Preferred:
o Vocational or Associates Degree in a technical field with 2 years industry experience.    

Job Levels:
-  Service Supervisor I                                                                                                                                        o Viewed as a competent Supervisor, within limits of experience. Under moderate oversight of daily work, able to perform all routine duties.  Has the functional and technical skills to perform the job and to solve moderately complex problems and issues.   -  Service Supervisor II                                                                                                                                       o Viewed as an advanced Service Supervisor, capable of handling most problems except those requiring engineering assistance.  Under very limited review of daily work, incumbents are viewed as competent in all areas. Uses critical thinking skills to analyze and solve complex problems and issues. Demonstrates competency and understanding of all equipment used in the process of hydraulic fracturing and is capable of trouble shooting same. Acts as a mentor for less experienced Supervisors by providing guidance and communicating best practices. Although not required, the ideal person usually has at least five years of experience.   -  Service Supervisor III                                                                                                        Viewed as the most advanced Service Supervisor, acts as a lead and is capable of handling the most complex of duties with very limited to no supervision. Uses advanced knowledge and logic to analyze and solve compound problems. May relieve and/or assist the Service Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the stimulation crews. Demonstrates exemplary leadership and communication skills. Although not required, the ideal person usually has at least 10 years of experience.
