We are advancing the world of Broadcasting and we want YOU to join our winning team!Sinclair Broadcast Group is looking for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to help implement and maintain marketing efforts across multiple social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms as needed for agency clients as well as SBG stations.The Social Media Marketing Coordinator assists the Social Media Manager to support both internal and external social media initiatives by making recommendations to enhance our social advertising strategy, execute social advertising campaigns, analyze effectiveness and pivot to ensure continued performance, continually research and stay on top of platform best practices and trends, as well as provide brand audits, community growth and marketing strategic guidance and training for both internal and external clients. This person should have a strong working knowledge of social media networks from a brand marketing and advertising perspective, previous use of placing social ad campaigns, strong content creation and writing skills, and experience in community building for businesses and organizations. This position also serves as the lead for all social advertising execution in Facebook, Twitter and other networks as needed for all agency clients and station campaigns.Experience in social media marketing and advertising in broadcast television or a digital agency preferred, but not required. Additional knowledge in SEO, SEM, and display advertising also preferred, but not required.Some travel is required in this position.ResponsibilitiesStaying on top of current trends, social ad platform changes and social advertising strategies to ensure our efforts are leading-edge.Placement and monitoring of social advertising campaigns, ensuring that all demographics, targeting, spend and content is accurate.Serving as the lead for the execution of social advertising campaigns for agency clients as well as Sinclair television stations under the direction of the Manager, Social Media.Serves as the lead coordinator for agency clients, assisting external clients with the growth and development of their social properties by delivering consultations, brand evaluations, recommendations and trainings in key social platforms.Tracks and reports analytics for social marketing campaigns, and prepares reports for internal and external clients as needed.Conducts market research, competitive audits, and audience segmentation for social marketing campaigns and community management for internal and external clients.Aids in the creation of digital marketing sales kits, one-pagers and sales materials as-needed to support agency and station revenue growth.Work with stations and external clients, providing training and assistance with implementing best practices for social media marketing, brand building and community management.Works with Social Media Manager to understand business goals/objectives, and current marketing plans to implement strategiesAssists with internal agency project management, client communications and consultations for social marketing and brand growth.QualificationsAt least 2 years experience in social media advertising and marketing required.Detail-oriented with strong project management, organization and time management skillsStrong phone and presentation skills, with experience in client account management preferred.Ability to work autonomously to maintain own work flow and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong understanding of social networking and social media marketing i.e., blogs, social networks, microblogging, podcasts/Web TV, wikis/collaborative softwareStrong writing experience for social networks, web sites, blogging and strategic presentations required.Strong data research and analysis capabilitiesExperience with analytics for Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, PinterestStrong knowledge of online marketingExperience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe (Acrobat, Photoshop, Dreamweaver)HTML experience is a plusExperience using web content management system a plusSinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace!
