Job# 453256115 The Manager of Real Estate Analysis will primarily be responsible for managing the lease renewal process for all Dick's Sporting Goods brands.  This will include providing financial analysis for expiring store leases; distributing key reports that include significant dates and updates for all expiring leases; and participating in the decision process on whether to renew, remodel, relocate, or close stores.  This role will also provide financial analysis to the Real Estate team for other lease negotiations/obligations.   Manage the preparation and development of the analytical package that is delivered to Real Estate for every lease renewal.  Ensure completeness and coordinate with Real Estate, Finance, Facilities, and Market Research that no additional information is necessary.   Provide additional supporting analysis (lease and financial analysis) to the Real Estate group for all Waiver requests from landlords; existing lease negotiations; and other support as deemed necessary.  Ensure that the best possible deals are being struck based on sound analytical data.   Manage the lease renewal process by maintaining and developing tracking that ensures we are meeting deadlines.  Work closely with Finance, Construction, Facilities, Market Research, and Real Estate leadership to ensure that all parties are up-to-date with real time information via an available dashboard.   Manage the day-to-day operations of the Lease Accounting group.  This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and understanding forecast variances; providing direction for month-end close; reviewing quarter-end and year-end analysis; and providing financial stewardship as necessary.   Work closely with the Market Research and Real Estate teams to ensure that the appropriate reporting is being supplied to support their day-to-day operations.      

Education:
  Bachelor's Degree   Accounting  

Experience:
   7-10 years   Public Accounting or Retail experience preferable
