Job Summary

Design Students will learn how create and develop a project utilizing multiple presentation techniques. This class will emphasize on the presentation of both the 3D model, and orthographic representations by traditional and non-traditional means. Drawing and Presentation techniques used to communicate design solutions will be covered in this course. Course includes assembling board presentations, the use of graphics and lettering, as well as graphic techniques in refining drawings. Students will use projects developed in earlier or concurrent quarters.

Academic affairs department, other school/campus functional areas, curriculum task force and other committees, other faculty, and students

Job Requirements:

1. A Master’s Degree in chosen field is required to apply. It may be in Interior Design, Architecture, or closely related Design Field.

2. A strong Graphic Presentation sensibility. Knowledge of presentation software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, or comparable platform a must

3. Strong AutoCAD (or comparable program) is a must.

4. Working knowledge of Sketch-up a plus.

5. Demonstrable animation walkthroughs for visual presentations a must.

6. A minimum of 5 years of industry experience

7. Demonstrated Revit Experience a plus

8. Past teaching experience is helpful but not required

9. Attention to detail.

10. Must demonstrate strong written communication and oral presentation skills.

11. An understanding of current professional technologies and programs that aid in BIM understanding and work flow a plus
