Equipment Operator

The Laredo Country Club is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our Greens and Grounds department. The Equipment Operator is responsible for performing work involved in golf course maintenance, including, but not limited to semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, operation of small hand-powered equipment, and work involving large equipment such as tractors, trenchers, backhoes, trucks, mowers, loaders and other maintenance equipment. Established in 1983 and built on over 160 acres of once vegetative ranch land, Laredo Country Club provides an unexpected level of difficulty combined with strategically designed putting greens. Legendary golf course designer Joe Finger created the most distinctive and strategically designed golf course in South Texas in Laredo Country club.

With an 18 Hole golf course, driving range, eight tennis courts, a sports court, four banquet halls, a fitness center and three restaurants, Laredo Country Club is "Our Family's Second Home". Position Description

The Equipment Operator will be responsible to operate and care for the course maintenance equipment and performs related work, as needed, for golf course maintenance. This position will report to the Golf Course Superintendent and the Director of Agronomy, and will assist in the day-to-day operations of the golf course and any on-going projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to safely operate light motorized equipment and vehicles.
