Products & Services
NewPage offers a wide range of coated, uncoated, digital, supercalendered, book, and specialty papers. These paper products are designed primarily for end-use applications such as catalogs, magazines, books, inserts, flyers, stationery, and direct mail, as well as packaging, printing, and labeling. The company distributes its products through direct sales, merchant sales, and specialty sales to publishers, retailers, and packaging manufacturers.
NewPage was founded in 2005, but carries more than 100 years of papermaking experience—two major paper mills trace their origins back to 1888. The current iteration of NewPage is comprised of former paper operations Mead, Consolidated Papers, Westvaco, and Stora Enso North America. In 2006, the company purchased mills in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nova Scotia.
