Recent changes not for the better
Relatively well paid and benefits were good. The culture has changed over the last few years under new management. I would not want to be a young person starting a career here, unless you have no desire to excel.
ProsSchedule, laid back
ConsDangerous conditions, younger work force is not as motivated as veterans

Culture Is good, Advancement opportunties not
arcelor mittal corporate tells a good story and seems like a great place to work. The locations and jobs are not exactly what is sold. Opportunities are more supervisory than engineering

Dangerous steel mill, must be careful.
All steel mills are dangerous places to work. They pay is pretty good, the techs are rough steel mill types. Need to have people skills to avoid union issues.

Fun work place and respect for workers
Its a place to work with few great people to work with, On the overall it is a great place to work.,,great place to work. people talk free country The best thing we can do is tp respect, and listen. There in nothing much for somebody to other than to listen. That is the best way to learn in once life. Do not and never claim that you know it all. No matter how small, just listen and you might learn and give glory to our heavenly father who is in Heaven. It is better to be patience at all times. If one is quiet, does not mean that he/she is sense less.Quiet souls controls the world. Thank you for reading this piece of advise. Learn and God bless you in you life time and beyond.
ProsFew people that like to keep things to themselves.
ConsGood staffs

Management is a nightmare
Management lives to write people up. Safety is a joke. You're nothing but a warm body to them and easily replaceable. Supervisors treat you like garbage along with the rest of management, It's a stressful environment and they have no compassion for their employees.
ProsPay and benefits

Nothing bad to say
Nothing bad to say. All good. People are good and easy to deal with. You can't work from home. Everybody works from the office. It is 8 hour shift. Can't go home early unless you are sick
