Overall Reviews at Cargill
It is a job where your hours change and a lot of overtime. Dirty, dusty and nasty work environment. Hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. Only plus uniforms are supplied and washed for you. You have shower facilities and descent locker room.
ConsDusty work environment
Productive and fun place to work
You are enabled to work independently and trusted to get the work done. Cargill is great at allowing a work/life balance. Goals and objectives are clear and attainable and the bonus pool is great if your job is applicable for bonuses.
Productive and fun work enviornment
Good working environment with a very inclusive and diverse group of people. Most everyone at the plant has good energy and are enjoyable to get to know.
Constantly changing organization
Cargill is a company that loves to innovate and as a result a typical day at work can feel like it lacks direction as you work toward the flavor of the month.

Disappointing leadership culture.
Working at Cargill was the biggest disappointment of my career. I expected this to be a well organized, well led company, but it was a lot of unnecessary chaos and a a very poor leadership environment. The prevailing ethos was CYA.

Working for Cargill was such a great experience
Loved working there. Management cares about their team, opportunity for advancement, overall amazing work environment. I left only to focus on my family and needing to be available for my aging parents. The company was completely supportive with time off and accommodating my family circumstances, I simply needed to step away from my career. I felt wholly supported by my bosses and the company as a whole and couldn’t have asked for more.
Cargill is a great palace to work, I have nothing but good thing to say about my company. Cargill is a people oriented Company and has great benefits.
Good place to work with tons of growth potential. Exceptional history of growth and profitability. Downsides are working through the red tape of large organization and sometimes slow to react to changes needed within the business.

A couple great leaders
At JBS there are positives and negatives the same you will probably find at any facility. For years I felt happy and excited for work but over time. I began to feel as though maybe there is better else where...
Good company to work for
Lots of competition for every position. Hard to advance if you are trying to change departments as they have multiple qualified applicants for every role
