Overall Reviews at Century 21
Transaction Coordinator | Township of Jackson, NJ | Jun 20, 2019
I love Century 21 and the atmosphere they created between the brokers, admin staff, and especially between agents. The agents were never petty with each other and they always were there to help each other. No matter what level of business you did, we feel like a family. The broker was involved in day-to-day business and if you ever needed anything he was there to help. Best job I ever had!

Not a pleasant place to work
There was no direct training or support. Very stressful. No loyalty. Work was in an office without anyone to relieve you for breaks or lunch. The agents were the best part of the job.
ProsThere was a TV to watch in the conference area
ConsToo many to list here

A big name in real estate
Location and brand name bring a lot of business for this company. Experience and resources are key to offering good representation in the sale or purchase of real estate.

Great Managment Team!
I loved working with Century 21 NorthBay Alliance. I enjoyed providing administrative and marketing support for all the agents and brokers. The company owners/brokers are wonderful to work with and I always felt appreciated.
ProsPaid time off for major holidays, and paid sick time
ConsVery small group of agents who were not productive enough and the office had to be closed.

Century 21 is a great place to work If you have the time
Century 21 was a great place to work. We took monthly team outings to fun events such as sports games, beer brewery, and escape rooms. The pay was decent, however the hours you must work since it is real estate could be extremely long. you could spend 8 hours in a office one day and then have to spend an extra 4 hours after work showing houses. Once, I switched from working in the office to remote work it was a lot easier making calls and then showing houses and I could limit my self to a 8 hour work day. However, the 8 hours were not 9-5. one day it could be 12-8 and then the next day it could be 7-3
ProsMoney, bonuses, monthly team outings

bad place to work
job not for someone who is looking for a career. This is more like a mall job it is somewhere you go part time until you figure out what you want to do. Hours are not good and the worst thing was management. Non professional almost at all times and always had something else more important to do when you needed them

Inter active with all the team members from maintenance to the CEO. I learned how to read and evaluate purchase order. I worked with and closely with the CFO-President and CEO thru my career with Century 21.
The hardest part of my job was making sure that the day ran smoothly which it always did.
I enjoyed working with the CEO and his family

Very professional office making peoples dreams come true.
Our office was a very professional office. I took my job very seriously and made the agent job easier for them to focus on more transactions. The most enjoyable part of the job was it was different every day. We were making peoples dreams come true with their home ownership.

Too much overhead
The management was good to great. However, the company commission splits were heavily in favor of the company. They also charged a monthly fee for desk space whether you used it or not. The company was eventually sold to another brokerage firm.
