Overall Reviews at DaVita
I have been working with this company for 10+ years. I really enjoy working here and feel I get a lot of support from the company and teammates. I just wish the compensation was more competitive.
Working at Davita was a great experience and I learned a lot. It's a team-orientated environment and I could always depend on the people around me to lend a hand.
My typical work day at DaVita was running around to make sure all our patients first and most were taken care of. I also took care of all the training, scheduling, inventory, ordering and front office work. There was not enough time in the day for everything. Communication was by text. I did not like that. Its not hard to pick up a phone and call to go over duties that need to be discussed. You can't just tell one person when you are working as a TEAM! This all happened in the last year of working there. When I first started this job it was very challenging and awarding. The FA at the time was awesome. She was always there and willing to help no matter what.
Prosfree lunches every once in awhile
Conslack of communication and appericiation
I have worked for a five star clinic to a 2 star clinic. I have traveled to other places to help out. Unfortunately they don't stand by there creed. They are a money driven company not a "village"!! There is very little say in there skeem of things to be the top. They have pushed out or lost many outstanding people to there greed in numbers. Please beware the dress is nice and fancy but it is all for show.
ProsCoffe and pastic silverware
Conspoor management, no appreciation
This company is really like treating you like a family member!!
They take proud in caring for their patients.
They do alot of fun things for their staff
Very professional and productive place to work for.
I really loved working for Davita. The opportunities that Davita offers are by far the best I've seen. They really go out of the way to make the teammates feel confident in any job role they pursue.
DaVita is a decent company
I enjoy DaVita as a whole. I dislike that you are unable to move up and forward within the company. Overall, its a decent company to work for. Attending to patients needs is the best part of the job.
Only care about the bottom line.
Only care about the revenue that the company brings in. Most of the dialysis machines are run down and badly needed replacing. There was no overtime work to bring this equipment back up to standards. The upper management will not check off for overtime.
love my job love my job love my working environment love my patients love the company love the work it’s always something new and different it’s challenging
Overworked and underpaid compared to the work that is required. Only an 1-1.5 hour of break in total out of a 16-18 hour shift. Management only cares about resolving a problem if it benefits them in a way.
ProsFree Lunch, room for advancements, training programs
ConsOverworked, work/personal life unbalanced, underpaid
