Overall Reviews at Deloitte

Different point of views
I was recruited to Deloitte for a new role. The position and people were good but the job never really took off and lot of days with no work and very boring.
Mergers and Acquisitions Manager | Houston, TX | Oct 9, 2019
I nice stop on your career, but don't stay too long
Quality training for people new in their career. Whether the good pay is enough to cover for the long hours, travel and emotionally draining big-4 consulting culture is tbd.
Systems Integration Specialist | Chicago, IL | Oct 23, 2019
Excellent environment with opportunity
Opportunity for growth and advancement, but requires significant travel. Work/life balance i snot always there. Compensation and benefits were outstanding.

executive review
Deloitte was a great company with an organized and structured job advancement track. The company will also work with employees to find new and interesting tasks as well as work to create a good work life balance for its employees. The culture is full of hardworking, kind and genuine people making an "impact that matters" which make working there even better.

The friendships I made in the 14 years I worked for Deloitte
I would have loved to retire at Deloitte. However depending on your manager, it could be short lived due to favoritism. Training and development is outstanding and the most enjoyable part of the job.
Transformation Manager | Indianapolis, IN | Jan 18, 2019
Contractor Job
I was a part of the transformation team for the state of Indiana. This team facilitated the curriculum, content, and training of all state employees. The Indiana Eligibility Determination Service System was the course we taught. My role was curriculum writing, content development, project site management, and state training.

Excellent place to work
Deloitte & Touche Accounting Firm is one of the top-five firms in the world. My employment was at their Chicago location downtown. This was an excellent time in my life. Great company to work for with great benefits.

Excellent Company to Work For
I worked at Deloitte & Touche for over two years and received critical training and skills development. The culture is excellent and the promotion opportunities are unequalled.
ConsSignificant Travel Required

Hustle, Hustle, Hustle
the rumors you hear about working at Deloitte are 100% true. You have to work hard in a fast paced environment that can be highly stressful. The work itself is very finance driven, so knowledge of finance is a must. Schedules can be fairly flexible, as long as you get your work done on time, there are no issues.

Questions And Answers about Deloitte

Why did you leave your job at Deloitte?
Asked Mar 26, 2017
After twenty years if loyal service they sent my job to India. If clients only knew that their work was getting done in India.
Answered May 21, 2019
Very unprofessional when it comes to upper management. You will try your hardest until you are warm out. Management will threaten your job on One Team. Very stressful and tense environment. Every morning I felt the stress. The favorite quote of the team is, “your damned if you do and your damned if you don’t”. I don’t recommend applying.

How are the working hours at Deloitte?
Asked Jul 1, 2016
Depends on what department you are in but most of the time you either bring work home with you or have work on the mind. I heard it’s like that accross the board.
Answered Aug 18, 2018
When you’re on a project, you work your butt off - usually gladly because you’re stretching yourself side by side with other brilliant young professionals. When you’re “on the beach” you get a break (40 hour week), but you’re expected (and want to) network within and outside the firm for the next round of hard action. The occasional long hours are actually very stimulating, and the rewards - in both self-pride and recognition (incl. $$$) make it more than worth while. You wanna be/stay middle middle class? Deloitte isn’t for you. You want upper middle to one percenter class? Stick it out and Deloitte will put you there. Forget the “quality of life” moaners... you have more opportunities for that than in 90% of the rest of the employment market.
