Section Leader | Maryville, TN | Nov 5, 2019
Great pay and benefits
I worked at DENSO for over 29 years. I enjoyed the group I worked with very much and it was hard to leave. I retired early and moved. The culture is good for the area and I do see women finally having more of an opportunity to advance.

Denso is a great work environment. The company cares not only about the quality of its product, but about their associates and employees as well. There is plenty of room for advancement which is always encouraged. They support growth, change, and new ideas from all employees.

Leave it last option
Do not recommend it, there is a lot of personal rotation; i left my job for work in there, but they did not give me the plant, the assistant manager did not care to train me, they expect that the employ knows everything without training, it is a good company but the assistant manager are not competent, they do not care about the situation of the employers, they just fire the people without any consent.

Fast paced company moving into new ways of innovative automotive part design
A diverse atmosphere that is very challenging and a typical day consists of finding new ways to problem solve but yet keep the balance of your daily routine.

It is a good place to work if you are an employee
My issue is I am a temp and there is no hope of being hired, not because of the quality of my work but my position will be ending and there is still not firm end date
ProsGood if you can get hired
ConsTemping is long term with no hope of employement

Good place to work, Good people to work with, pay and advancement not as touted.
The work pace was challenging but doable. Co-workers are friendly, good people. Overall analysis, there is much bureaucracy, ineffective meetings, and other typical large company inequities.
ProsLiked my Supervisor, and co-workers.
ConsIn my personal case, wage increases and advancement not as touted..

Require managers to have experience working in the departments they are managing
Answered Sep 6, 2019
Recognition for exceeding expectations and rewarding the determination and dedication. Its expected that you have a strong work ethic towards tasks, but when you're problem solving and creating new and improved concepts to increase productivity no recognition or appreciation is expressed through management. It just seemed to be overlooked and expected although the idea was saving time and effort
