Fun but overworked
I really did love the job which is why I stayed so long. But every store was so understaffed so it put it all on me. Which I didnt mind at all, I was just not appreciated or compensated for it.
ProsThe customers got me through the day, as well as the coffee making/sandwhiches.
ConsI would work overtime (60 hrs a week) on salary and never got the extrra compensation. Also, we were very short staffed so a lot of the times I would bake donuts, open at 5 am, then go home for a few hours and close til 8. It was just too exhausting without the pay.

Fun place to work at
It's fun working at Dunkin' only because you always have your daily customers who make your day better or those who can make it worse but you always have a good time with your coworkers. Very easy job, it takes time to learn but you will get the hang of it.
ProsNever clock out for lunch

Good for first job, not for grown ups
I've so far worked at dunkin for 2 years. Its a relatively okay job but management can be very petty and unorganized. Very rough if you're looking for a night shoft job because they work you to the bone with no extra night differential.
ProsFree lunch, good coworkers
ConsShort breaks, poor management

Nice place to work
Depending on the franchisee, the location could be a nice place to work. The upper management offers training to help the managers progress and improve sales and employee retention.
ProsPaid vacations, some benefits, some advancement
Consloss of family time

great place to work but...
All of the employees were great. and the job wasn't hard. only issue was sometimes you'll get rude people in the mornings but they hadn't had their coffee yet so not much you can do about it.

if you put the work in, you are compensated fairly
its a tough job, but with grit and dedication, it can be rewarding. More often than not, managers and franchisees are often willing to bend over backwards to ensure that valued employees are happy inside and outside of work.

It was a good job.
I liked the style of the chain and the friendly enviorment. I made friends with my coworkers and got along with everyone. Since I was still in the food industry, there were a lot of customers who were rude but that just comes with the job.
