Overall Reviews at GE Healthcare
Very good company.
Great company to work for with the exception of job security. A bad quarter could result in a reduction in staff. Other than that, it is a very good company to work for.
ProsGood work life balance.
ConsJob security. A bad quarter could result is reduction in staff with nothing to do with performance.
Quick to cut
I enjoyed my job until new management came in from corporate the manager was cutthroat and vicious Did not understand the process and used people that could help her
demanding, high pace company
Awesome place to work and develop talent. A lot of demand on top performance. Every year they layoff of the lower percentage of performers. I successfully produced above and beyond expectations which allowed for many opportunities
Was afforded the opportunity to work remotely, which saved on travel expense but also increased my productivity by reducing distractions typically experience in an office environment. It was as though I was able to run my own small business.
Productive and fun work place
A great place to work, great benefits. Great scope development. Helpful managers and co-workers. Excellent team environment. Very family oriented.

Do your job
From my experience, as long as you do what is EXPECT of you, management will leave you be. Training is available and elevation within the company is obtainable for those that go after it and your actions matches the next role you are working towards.
Working with GE Healthcare was a great experience for me in many ways some good and so not so good. The team I worked with was compiled of many people at different phases in their career who had different personalities and career goals. I loved my job but when health issues arose whereas I received all of the legally binding support from HR nothing was done when my manager indicated that he was unwilling to work with a person with disabilities. All of the internal grievance processes and procedures seemed more geared towards protecting the company instead of being sure that employees are treated fairly. The company advertises diversity and has many networks and forums (i.e. People with Disabilities Network & Different Ethnicity Networks) for open sharing, but they don't do anything to make sure that cultural issues are actually addressed or resolved.
The most enjoyable part of my job were the philanthropic events and programs I got to arrange or be a part of and the hardest part was working in an environment where the people responsible for enforcing fair practices where employees rights were concerned chose the buddy system over the honor system.
ProsOn site fitness and health programs, on site cafeteria and tremendous growth opportunities
ConsPoor HR practices.
Overall GE was a great company to work for.
I value the professional experience I gained while employed with GE Healthcare. I feel the company treated the employees well during the site closure. Offering opportunity and support in training to improve chances seeking employment after site closure.
ProsGood employee support from HR and corporate
ConsSite closure leading to unemployment

Land of opportunity
The people are the true gems here. Leadership is amazing, driving successful culture of connectivity and people striving to do their best for the company and for the customer. Healthcare is a marketplace where products help to SAVE LIVES, an incredible place to spend your work days.
Best place for entry level
GE Healthcare is the best place possible for any entry level candidate seeking operations experience. Encouraging place to work and grow. The management team provides good mentoring and lean six sigma is actually used seriously.

A company with good people intelligent and capable, from which I learned a lot both as a technician and as work is as a person.
