Santander is my work home. I have never felt more comfortable in any work environment, don’t get me wrong, it can be HECTIC. BUT absolutely worth it and management is phenomenal. Honestly. They are so supportive and understanding. They make it an enjoyable work place no matter what is going on. They are so willing and ready to help anyone who wants it. If you are someone looking to help people, better yourself as an employee and an individual then this is a great place to be!

Important institution in the banking industry, focused on customer service. Unfortunately, does not pay the salaries and benefits deserve by the personnel.
ConsFew fringe benefits

Stressing job. Great benefits. A lot of pressure.Koop
Great place to work. They have a lot of benefits. They give uniforms, one hour in lunch time, medical benefits, etc. But they pressure to much the employee. Nothing is sufficient. They sacrifice customer service because every day you have to sell products, even though a client comes to you to solve a problem. You have to sell him/her something. I worked 23 years for them. I went sick a lot of times,I can't even talk and I had to answer the phone before the third ring. I gave my life for that company and they fired me in2014. In that place you don't know when they are going to fire you. They fired my friend with 15 years of experience. They fired a manager with 30 years too. They want you to sell no matter what. You don't have no option if you don't sell what they want and make your goals they put you in a plan for 90 days. If you don't make it,you're out. When I started there in 1990 customer service was the priority. I loved my job and they didn't even ask me if a wanted another position in a department.
ProsGreat health care plan.
ConsNo coffee breaks. Excessive competition.

Real opportunities in a great work environment
A Bank is an amazing place to work if you like real learning, hard work and a lot of future advancement. Banks are always full of people trying to get the best of their money ant giving you the greatest way of showing how good you are in sales, bank knowledge, cross selling, and been a great human being cause the only difference between one bank to another is their customer service. If you love your work it will show and everyone will love to be attended by you. Bank culture is two things, sales and customer service and I excel in both if I may say it myself. Still love banking but here unless your in the top management your salary is not that great.
ProsGreatest learning Experience, always ways of advancement
Conslow salary for all the responsibilities
