Great for flexibility and balance
For those who enjoy working from home this is a great place to work. As an independent contractor one is able to set their own schedule. The biggest drawback is there are no benefits.
Prosflexible schedule
Consno benefits

Good for students
Easy tasks, only for part time or if you have spare time. Due to amount of workers vs amount of tasks, they eventually run out of task and you ended up not working enough hours, If you have spare time and want to earn extra, this is the job for you.

Great part time job
Loved it. Wish I could do it again. But was let go because didn't need more rating done. Hope to be asked again soon. Only worked a hour a day when I had time.
ProsWork from home
ConsPart time and don't count on working long.

Laid-back Contracting Gig
There is not much feedback on assignment unless you're doing it wrong. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow once you get the hang of it. The assignments are consistent and the pay is on time.
ProsFlexible Schedule
ConsMonthly pay

It's ok
The pay isn't that great and there aren't always tasks to work on leaving you without any income. They also review you and give you little feedback and assistance when you request it.
ProsWork from home
ConsLittle work

Good work poor pay good people to work with alright benefits need more advance jobs need pay raises and bonuses better managers more secure jobs for people
Transcriptionist | Remote | Mar 3, 2020
If you are looking for a stable position that is remote, this is not a job I recommend. They give work by email, which only accrued two to three times a year. The hourly pay isn't worth it because each assignment is either 10 to 30 minutes long.

Great Work from Home
This job is perfect if you’re looking for a side hustle. You basically work whenever you want when there is work available. Work can be available 24/7 so you set your own hours. The pay is decent for what the type of work you do. And it’s 100% work from home.

How are the working hours at Lionbridge?
Asked Nov 20, 2016
Eight hours, five days a week (M-F), salaried, but every day is different. It comes down to what the client needs and when. On average, in my position as a technical writer, I am basically "on call" from 0630 to 1600 hours, or 9 and a half hours a day. because we have clients in UK, US East Coast, and US West Coast.
