Great company to work for from home. Project managers are very efficient in communicating. Emails and questions answered in a timely manner. Transcription jobs are of good quality for the most part.
ProsWork from home.
ConsCan't project income or jobs coming in.

My experience in the Acoustics Department was great, however, I was informed that I was to train my replacement as Lionbridge had expired their contract with the corporation and I needed to look elsewhere for work.

What I enjoy about the job
Work life and life balance is awesome, work is there when available, and pay is decent! Sometimes you can go a couple of days with no tasks to do, but when there is tasks to do, it make's up for the days there wasn't any tasks.
ProsPay is decent
ConsSome days there is no tasks

I love working from home but training was poor as was communication.
I really love working from home and this was a great way to accomplish that goal. You could work any time, day or night. They didn't train well, leaving me with more questions than answers. They didn't communicate well. It could take days to get an email response to a question or issue.
ProsWork at home, anytime
ConsPoor training, poor communication

Great for flexibility and balance
For those who enjoy working from home this is a great place to work. As an independent contractor one is able to set their own schedule. The biggest drawback is there are no benefits.

Good for students
Easy tasks, only for part time or if you have spare time. Due to amount of workers vs amount of tasks, they eventually run out of task and you ended up not working enough hours, If you have spare time and want to earn extra, this is the job for you.

Great part time job
Loved it. Wish I could do it again. But was let go because didn't need more rating done. Hope to be asked again soon. Only worked a hour a day when I had time.
ProsWork from home
ConsPart time and don't count on working long.

Laid-back Contracting Gig
There is not much feedback on assignment unless you're doing it wrong. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow once you get the hang of it. The assignments are consistent and the pay is on time.
