Learned a lot about Import/Export and enjoyed working with my colleagues.
I learned a lot about Ocean Export. I also liked the challenges that I faced each day when assisting customers with the issues. I enjoyed working with my team mates as well.

Great Company To Work For
Maersk Is a great company to work for but there isn't really much room for growth. the pay isn't really that great but the benefits are good. All in all, i would recommend working for this company to anyone looking for a change in career.

Company focused on moving all regional jobs to India and the Philippines
Maersk is high on responsibility and accountability but severely limits ability to do your job effectively by removing access to systems as functions are migrated overseas.
ConsConstant insecurity due to knowing your job will be eliminated

Okay Place to Work
There's not a lot of variety in job roles here in Charlotte. The pay is decent. Flexible with time off. They feed you a lot. Laid back work environment.

Good Company to work for
This company was the best with regard to benefits and compensation. They had company functions to show their employees their appreciation. The provided room for advancement, as well as allowed employees to cross train into other departments.

Off Shore Hiring & Lay offs
When laid off due to offshore hiring, we were told that we could return if there was an opening. That was FALSE. They do not keep their word. Ruth G..

My job was relocated several years ago.
I enjoyed my time working for Maersk Sealand but that job was relocated several years ago so I have no current knowledge of the company as of today. What I can say is that I enjoyed working in the Global Transportation field enough to move from Charlotte, NC to Dallas, TX.
