Marriott says they care about people. But they acutally only care about people who kiss there butt. Other then that you are not recognized and disposable.

Marriott is a great company
I loved growing with Marriott but ultimately the pay enticed me to pursue other career options. It is a great first job or in between for some. I recommend them

Enjoyable, friendly, meet new people every day
It has been many years since I worked for Marriot. But I really enjoyed it. It was a natural for me. Answering phones, taking reservations, checking guests in and out, handling complaints from guests and resolving conflicts.
I'd say, taking care of unhappy guests was always stressful. But I liked being able to fix things for them and make them happy.
I enjoyed my coworkers and meeting people from all over the country.
ProsFriendly atmosphere and hotel discounts

This is a great place to work, it was truly a pleasure working at Marriott. The people the culture was great. You work hard but it was worth it. You learn something every day and it is always something to do there. I was EUC Tier 2 so this team was second level support to the help-desk and for the system manager, general managers and hotel exec and owners.
we were subject matter experts and we resolved many different types of software and hardware issue also networking issues as well for Marriott and its affiliate branches and locations around the world.

Its a hotel.
With any hotel you have great guest experiences and not so great ones. All and all i like my job but juggling the work and school while making less money and needing to pay for said school pushed me out the hotel.
