Productive and diverse place to work at.
A typical day at work included interacting with customers whether it was a friendly greeting or helping them find what they're looking for. I learned to manage a workplace and train other employees to eventually work here too. I enjoyed displaying shoes for customers to buy throughout different seasons.

Excellent learning experience
I enjoyed working for payless shoe store. I enjoyed being part of the team. I like working at a fast paced environment payless taught me a lot about merchandising and pre trained management. Payless had a very helpful staff and had many opportunites to become an employee in other businesses. It's to bad they had to close down. If they ever reopen I would want to work there again.
ConsThey closed all stores

Rollercoaster of emotions
Great atmosphere and clientele. Easy onboarding and training with 1-3 months of one on one support. Inconsistent communication from leadership and horrible work/life ratio. Good pay on management level.
ProsGreat environment and clientele
ConsNot enough room for growth
