Best working years of my life
Had the most amazing experience working at sea. Princess cruise is the best. You have work colleagues who are friends that become family. Managers that support you 100%.

Fun but not paid alot
Fun, rewarding and so amazing to travel and get paid to play.
Miss home a lot though. And tough living contract to contract with little pay.
Meet so many amazing people from around the world
ProsFree Travel, free food and lodging, meeting new friends
ConsLong hours, miss home, not paid enough

Great benefits and perks and opportunity to work within different departments. Sometimes hard to get through to management although they seem to be working on it!

Cog in a machine
Princess pays very low, especially for being located in a high end Los Angeles suburb. Most coworkers had an additional part time job, which was frowned upon by Princess managers. If you are good at your job you get extra work to cover the slack of underperforming coworkers, but no extra pay and no overtime allowed. Most employees report to many managers, I had 5 I had to report to. They all dislike each other, which isn't great.
ConsLow pay, high cost of healthcare, poor management

Great people always lots of work and projects.
Princess Cruises is great place to work. The work environment is great. Princess Cruises has many projects for the year. Every day is a different day. The staff onboard our vessels are outstanding always trying to resolve any issues that happen. Meetings are very common at the workplace. You will be accountable for your work but you have the freedom to independent so it's a give and take.
I always recommend of the company benefits especially cruise benefits. The company many activities at the office and outside the company also outside the country.
ProsTime off and cruise benefits
ConsLot of work non stop

everything is fine
every day is like a monday . always busy..i worked for 13 hours straight. sometime when we are in United State of America we work for 16 t o18 hours..because we a sure that everything is gonna be fine from preparation are to plate.. we make things impossble to possible ..i woke up 5 am and then before 7 o'clock i need in my station ..till 10pm .im preparing my mise en place ,preparation for lunch time , preparing for dinner..
if you asking me what i learned? a lot of thing i learned from my past job.the best thing i learned is how to handle the situation the you need to be calm and relax no matter what gonna happen..you must be preapared for every situation in kitchen..
the management is good.. i can nothing to say ..
workplace its awesome, the culture just a little bit difficult to mingle .cuz i been in the philippines .were all the people here is conservative and not be confident
the work hardest part of my job .when its rough sea,.everything is moving even your ingredients..
enjoyable part ..when you finished early your preparation and before serving you have time to go outside every state of the world.you can travel free and you dont need to woke up so early cuz only walking distance from your cabin to your preparation area/ your station.
Consrepeatedly you job

Rude Employee Help Line
Customer service was easy as in very few irate customers seeing their planning a vacation. The help lines they offer employees for assistance, which are previous customer service reps is Disheartening, rude, & it's acceptable by management. The only plus was I was able to work from home & go part time & that allowed me the opportunity to grow my home business & leave the company!
ProsWorking from home
ConsRude unprofessional management and help team.

Great company to work for
Loved my position with the company and the challenge of performing in such high quality shows. The entertainment department management team was excellent to communicate with.
