Tried to Steal Wages From Employees
I worked out of the ProLogistix office at address 1340 Post & Paddock, Suite 400. Grand Prairie, TX 75050. The company sent me out to a warehouse job that paid minimum wage in Grand Prairie. The company had just been busted by ICE and had lost all of their illegal workers and were being forced to hire Americans. When I arrived there had been too many people sent out and the Warehouse could not put us all to work and sent the rest of us home only taking their regulars. Everyone was from Prologistix and after speaking to several others, I was told Prologistix has a habit of sending out more people than the company needs just in case all don't show. Only problem with this is we lose out in gas when we can't work. The supervisor at the site told us that we were to be given either two or four hours in a come out fee. She said that was the agreement the company had with prologistix. When I left I called Prologistix and inquired about this fee and the office manager there became angry and demanded to know "who told me" about the fee. She then claimed ignorance. I had to call the corporate office who immediately told me yes I would recieve the fee. After the VP from the corporate office added the hours to my pay a few days later the office manager from Prologistix called me yet again and asked me how many hours did I work. I said none because I had been sent home. She took the money right back off my check. I found out on payday. I had to call and demand my money be put back on
ProsFriendly staff when they are trying to steal my wages
ConsMinimum Wage, tried to take my wages, intentionally avoids telling workers about the come out fee

Sorriest i have ever been treated!!
Do NOT apply for this company if your looking to need a job right away with good pay and benifits. At my previous job I was there 4 years & NEVER called in, worked all the OT I possibly could, don't do drugs & have perfect transportation, was willing to travel anywhere I had to & work any hours even swing shift if needed...didn't have 1 mark against them doing me the way they did...told them I needed a good job with Christmas coming up and my 32 year old husband being disabled...did everything they wanted, drove to Dallas location almost 1 hr away a few times with only my husbands SSI income for gas and was even early for appointments, went through orientation & even safety course at DC location, was told I would start this Friday only to get a call Wednesday with them telling me position was no longer availiable!! Who does that to a famity like mine!! Didn't give them 1 reason, kept in contact with management every step of the way & even got my debit card my check would be deposited on every Friday!! I went & spent lots of money getting jackets with no hoods, lunch box & clear bags to use for security purposes like they said, ON MY HUSBANDS SSI/DISABILITY, even changed my sleep schedule to better prepare for over night position, taking time and money from what could have been spent on my children...went ABOVE & BEYOND to be told position wasn't availiable anymore...was so excited & loved the environment i was going to wotk for, beyond heart broke & would NEVER do anyone the
ProsNo PRO'S
ConsWorst Management & gets people's hopes up right before holiday's!!!

The worst staffing place ever
They lied about what kind of jobs that they have on their website, the recruiters DO NOT answer their phones, if you try to call them it seems like they avoid you and make up lies like “They’re in a meeting” I really don’t understand what meeting starts at 8:15am and lasts the entire day. If you want a different job with them good luck because you’re basically stuck at the one job you sign up for. They lie about overtime to get people to sign on. Literally every single time they said they would call back if they were “busy” you NEVER heard from them unless you called them. This place is single handedly the worst staffing company i’ve ever been to. They put you on the do not use list if you request to end an assignment. I beg you if you need a temp job this place IS NOT the place to go to!! They won’t give you the job you signed up for, whatever job is in the most demand they will assign you to that job. I would literally ask everyday for about 3 days about the job I originally signed up for they would give me the run around and say they would call me tomorrow about said job and would NEVER call! The jobs that they do have do not sanitize anything or couldn’t even care about COVID (UPS). Like I said this staffing solution company is more like a staffing problem. I wouldn’t recommend coming here even if this was the last staffing company open. Purely garbage. 0/5 stars please do not waste your time with this company! This is for the Louisville, Kentucky branch. All of those
Prosliterally nothing, the pay i guess??
Consliterally everything

Fire Fighter
There is no typical day in the life of staffing management. I spearheaded a $3 Million (day labor) account. This was a 24 hour 5+ days a week service. My budget called for a manager and leads on each shift, and an admin on day shift. Months prior to my resignation, I was the only manager without an admin. I would arrive at work between the hours of 6am - 8am(depending on the workload of the previous day) and leave between the hours of 3pm - 5pm(depending on the workload for the next day). I would log in at 9:50pm and call my night lead to ensure that all of our numbers have been met. If not, the I would calls employees to see why they were not at work on time, or try to call in available employees to take there place. I was always on call 24 hours a day. It was similar to the life of a firefighter. No matter the nature of the call/situation, you had to always be available and ready to put out a fire no matter how big or how small. The staffing range of employees on any given day could range from 0 employees - 150 employees overnight. Imagine, if the client had any issue with any of my employees ( production, attitude, attendance, dress code, etc.) I would receive a phone call no matter the time or day. The vision that the company has is a great vision for a standard on-site operation. This company is not equipped to handle a day by day operation.

ConsBroken Promises

If you can get your paycheck, your lucky!
I was given a Mastercard and told that they handled my paycheck, not ProLogistix and that I needed to setup direct deposit myself. So, I went home, got on the computer and did so. I was informed that it would take 10 business days for my money to be deposited into my bank account. 5 days later I was sent another Mastercard with my name on it and told that I would need to delete the first one and activate this one, which took another 10 business days from that point for direct deposit to become active. After two weeks my paychecks started going into my bank account, but the first two checks that I made were still on that Mastercard. I was told that I would need to do something different to get that money deposited and that would happen in another 10 business days. After that 10 business days, I was told that I needed to call the Mastercard people and choose some options to make that money go into my bank account. I have done so, and now my Mastercard is at a $0.00 balance, but I'm told it will take 2-3 business days for that money to show up in my bank account. What a bunch of crooks! I will never work for this staffing agency again.
ProsFound jobs fast, but so do other temp services
Conssent me to a job where temps were sent home in a week and another company that was closing down

Notba positive place to work, you line up like cattle at the beginning of your shift
I happened to work at Ryder on Commodity Ln., It was One of the worst experiences I have ever had. They just toss you from one position to another when you don't know how to do something. It's like being thrown in a swimming pool and you can't swim. You either doggy paddle your way out or you drown. Its embarrassing, most of the Permanents are napoly ...people from Tibet slash Indian people. They are hard workers but like to make fun of new people aa well as people outside their race. You can tell they are talking about workers and up to no good...sorta like running or pushing people to feel uncomfortable or quit...The last sttawbwas this blonde idiot who is constantly coming over to the hiring trailer....In had serious car issues arise and she proceeded to tell at me on the phone about how being serious about your job was prority and made me feel terrible. I'm an adult not a kid ...I have no control over the car breaking down. I got another car but I wasn't going to return to this lousy place to work....No Thank You.....You feel like you are in another country at Ryder....It's a joke and they do a lot of unsanitary things with new tooth brushes...yucko
ProsNo nothing, lousy break room, always dirty, always ao hot
ConsIts just not for people born in America, seriously

Receiving Associate | Tennessee | Jul 11, 2014
I enjoyed this job very much and I was moved up quickly due to my job performance and attendance.
A typical day at Sims was very consistent especially when I was in teardown. When I went to receiving associate after a month there was actual down time often in between trucks where I would sweep the floors and clean the stations. I was 1 of a team of 5. The supervisor was very helpful and respectful. The hardest part of the job well there wasn't atleast not to me. I enjoyed being there and what I did. I enjoyed dealing with the paperwork that we had to put together in a file for each shipment received aswell as seeing all the different type of materials and electronics that I never knew existed. I learned about materials and their importance to making certain electronics work. I learned a very unique computer program called Enwis Touch which is what we used to keep up with material, weight, and container. 2 stickers would print out and they would both go on material and placed to be recycled.
ProsGood hours, good friendly environment, good people, decent money, holiday vacations
Consvery dusty things would come through, alot of military equiptment that had sat for awhile would have mold, dust, and pollen, sims end of the building had zero ventilation

very unprofessional staff
I don't know about the rest of the locations, but i can tell you the Bolingbrook branch is very unprofessional. they only have 1 person there out of several who works. I went to that office (20 minutes early ) for my scheduled interview. That didn't matter because i sat there for 2 hours waiting! Then the interviewer couldnt had been less interested in all the warehouse experience i had because the position was only for forklift driver and the prologistix rep knew i wasn't a driver when she had me come in! While i sat there waiting the reps ignores over half their calls to finish their personal conversations . temps who got them to answer were talked about poorly when they hung up. one idiot rep left my ssn card face up on her desk while she gossiped down the hall for 30 minutes . i went and got it. When she finally retuned to her desk she didn't even realize it was missing! I think that when you are at an office for an interview you shouldn't feel like you are on a hidden camera show! I'm glad i didn't get that job i dont want to work for unprofessional people who don't answer their phones or have no respect for peoples privacy like displaying and abandoning ssn cards on their desk!
Prosnone
Consvery unprofessional office staff

Inventory Controller | Joliet, IL | Jan 15, 2015
Very Productive Learned alot.
In the beginning a typical day was being handed orders and case picking from the start of the work day to finish. Everyday we were required to pick a certain amount to reach our quota. Later after hard work I was moved to inventory control and was given new responsibilities suck as cycle counting, stock replenishment, discrepancy corrections, and more. I was also in charge of our floating bins which was an isle used for special products that was continually switched out. I learned a lot from the SAP system to driving various powered equipment. Management was various, many managers came and went but overall none had any concerns with my work ethic. For the most part co-workers worked hard and did what they were supposed to do. Our shift was the most team orientated. The hardest part of the job was conquering my nerves while learning to drive the powered equipment. The overall working environment was quite enjoyable unfortunately the warehouse itself suffered an economic blow and many employees including myself were laid off.
ProsGained massive knowledge and Overall great woring enviroment.
ConsNever recived an increase in pay. Bad economic times resulted in layoffs.

Disorganized and disrespectful
I applied for a warehouse position with this company. They did a phone screening with me and then scheduled and interview. I had to arrange childcare for the interview time and it was an hour drive round trip. I arrived 20 minutes early for the interview but because they have a small office there was a line of people out the door waiting to get in. I waited until the time of my interview and at that time another interviewer came outside and told everyone that they weren't seeing any more candidates and to just go home. It was only 1pm so that seemed very odd. I waited a few minutes and one of the staff came outside and shared the same message with me. I explained that we had a set appointment at 1pm and it was difficult for me to just "come back tomorrow" because I had to arrange childcare. She told me to just keep coming back every day that I could. This was a completely unprofessional suggestion and disrespectful of my time and other candidates time that were in line. This company is very disorganized and I would recommend candidates avoid this company and go somewhere that will treat you better.
