horrible pay and horrible benefits
A tremendous amount of responsibility with very little pay. Health insurance benefits are not good. On-call is required for this position. The branch manager is nice.

Unprofessional,Dishonest overworked and underpaid
Please be mindful when taking a job at this place overworked and underpaid. I understand if you just need the income at the time no future at this company

Poor ill educated management
Management is I'll educated and takes their position of authority to the extreme. The pay is ok but not for the hours or amount of work expected. You have zero recourse to how you are spoken to or treated. The office is very political and religiously prejudiced.

Excellent room for growth
With a excellent Regional director and Project Director I was able to learn the information needed for advancement. I enjoy the opportunity to grow within the company. Just wish that contracts were longer to sustain the staff.

The company is unorganized and they don’t train well. Please know if you make a mistake you will be fired even with the lack of training. Everything is somebody else’s fault.

One of my biggest concerns is how they treat both staff and management. I have personally watched management be very unprofessional towards clients, staff and other managers
ProsThe CSS is a wonderful person to work with
ConsLow wages, health benefits are horrible and serious attitudes towards staff and other administrators

Love the people and clients.
I love working at Res Care. I love the working with the clients. everything I do is for them. I love working with this population, and can not seeing myself working in any other field. Hours are long (do not mind that). It is hard to plan family time on weekends all ways on call. And sometimes I have to put family time on hold. My days off are my days I need them in order to do a good job Monday-Friday. The work keeps my busy thought the day and I love that, makes the day day go by. I love the fact that no two days are the same.
ProsI work mostly in the field.
ConsPrice of health care for myself and my son.

Do Not Work Here. It isn't worth it. They don't care anything about the employees and they will cheat you out of your overtime and make it seem like it's your fault.

Rescare was a new company in the area and we worked as contrators; the culture was very competitive, but the managers were difficult to work with because they came in like a revolving door.
