Good people...poor direction
Sanofi was filled with great people. Senior Leadership was not its strong suit. Lots of revolving doors. I always worked with solid leaders but with all of the turnover the last few years, it seems the diabetes and CV business never caught its stride.

Diverse workplace, opportunities
While Genzyme was a wonderful place and atmosphere to thrive and work in balance, Sanofi year by year took away the balance, with very inconvenient shifts, minimum raises and bonuses, and no flexibility in scheduling, and the humanity which made Genzyme such a great company, was swept away, and I was only too glad to move on.

The best company ever
When I began to work for HMR later to become Sanofi I loved the company and the people. It was a great place to work with fantastic benefits. As things go and change so do the people and benefits. I was ready to go when the opportunity presented itself. I'm a better employee because of my working at Sanofi.

stressful work environment
Sanofi created a stressful work environment that did not promote work life balance. The culture was not conducive to promoting work life balance and despite consistently strong results, leadership always felt like we were going to lose our jobs.

Flexable work life
Having a smart office and smart home. The connected home becomes more commonplace, more and more employees will continue to expect the same level of “connectedness” everywhere they go—including at work.

Great experience -
Job satisfaction was high, some of the managers had difficulet personalities. Overall, day-to-day responsibilites were very clear. The product was challenging to sell, but very rewarding.

Stressful and rushed
With the need to complete batches and turn around for a new batch the work environment can be very stressful. With FDA, Global, and other audits regularly we need to always follow our SOPs and maintain cGMP. While the job itself is rewarding, learning the working styles of all of your coworkers is what i find most challenging.
ProsThe paid time off. Every employee starts with 6 weeks of PTO per year. 3 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of sick time, 1 week of person/ floating holiday time, and a 1 week paid shutdown for line/ building maintenance

Good Company, Good Products, Constant Change
Sanofi offers average compensation and bonus for the pharmaceutical industry with outstanding benefits. Good products, but a weak pipeline and constant layoffs and change of senior leadership have made it a toxic environment with little confidence in job security.
