Working at Telus was helping customers with technical support for Netflix. Enjoyed my fellow co-workers and managers.
At Telus, a typical day would include, going over new promotions, new training manuals, and looking forward to assisting our customers with their technical issues. The management team was always willing to help whenever needed. The hardest part of my job at Telus was not being able to assist a customer.

It was okay
The job in itself was good! They were just dirty and had bed bugs. The management was always too busy. The hours were 24/7, which was cool. They worked with your schedule and paid well.

En gerencia me tenían en muy buen aprecio y me ayudaron sin vacilar cuando lo necesité.
Cultura laboral de respeto a todos sin distinciones de raza, edad, religión u otros.
Lo parte más difícil del trabajo fue al principio para adaptarme a la tecnología, procesos y métodos.
Me gustó mucho el respeto hacia mi por parte de superiores y compañeros así como la disponibilidad de todos para ayudarme a entender procesos.

Engaging Work Environment
Customer facing technical support desk. They train you to do what they need, easy to succeed, but limited avenues for advancement. Great location, with great amenities. Stocked Kitchen, Gym, Cafeteria, etc... Great community outreach program, I really enjoy working here. Great place to get your foot in the door when trying to get into IT, but not much in the way of growth and development after reaching Tier II.

Tier 2 Tech Support
Honestly, I loved this job. The people, the culture, and the work were pretty awesome. The only reason why I ended up quitting was due to familial issues that took me away from it. Whenever I needed help, we had a TL or a little chat associate to help us and stay with us until we figured it out. The pay and work/life balance wasn't so bad either.

they are full of drama
This is NOT a good place to work your managers talk about you your co workers talk about you .. if they don’t like you they try to make you leave ... still standing though but still it’s just a toxic environment they cafeteria food good though

I would say that the stagnation of the place is a bit dreadful, other than that. Its a good job with benefits. If youre hungry, you'll get to eat unlimited snacks all the time.

Stressful job but relaxed working environment
I was only here for 3 months. The hours are set and you can't change them unless you find someone to change with(which is hard as you are seated with your team). Unless you are a very people oriented person, this job will be very stressful due to the multitasking and requirement to ensure customers are satisfied after every phone call. Sometimes calls are back to back and you don't get a break from it. The environment itself is great, many amenities are provided and when not on a call you are free to chat with coworkers.
