Stay away from this place
Miserable place to work. Co workers will take advantage of u. Pay is garbage. Hours are garbage. Up-tight environment. No room for moving up. Stingy/Greedy management.

Do NOT Work Here
They put their employees in very unsafe and uncomfortable situations. You are required to go to customer’s homes at all hours of the night: 11pm, midnight, 1:30am! When I complained to a supervisor I was told “I had to be at a customer’s home at 12:30am and had no problems. If you don’t like it you don’t have to work here!” This day in age, you never know if what kind of home you’re walking into. When you are a female going to a married man’s home at midnight and his wife comes out of the bedroom wondering why there’s a females voice in the house that late at night, it’s not a comfortable situation.
ProsAnnual Sales meetings IF you sell certain amount of policies
ConsGoing to customer’s homes at all hours of the night

Management does not follow through on committments
What is promised and what is practiced are two separate entities. Some of the management is unethical. Professionalism has 2 sets of standards for men vs women.

Great Company & Great Opportunities
I truly enjoy working for The Hart Group because I am able to help people and have substantial earnings that continue to grow. Also, I have never worked for a company that truly cared for its employees and created a great company culture before The Hart Group.

need money to make money
Overall I loved working there. My problem was getting paid for my services. I was on salary plus commission. My salary was loosely paid after being nearly 2 1/2 weeks behind for weekly pay and no solution to get caught up. I demanded my pay in full or I would go to the union and parent company. I was paid but demoted then ignored. So I am here now. BTW this is no reflection on the company as a whole just one individual manager.

Best decision I ever made
I decided to make a big career change from the medical field, and it has been the best decision I ever made. I enjoyed helping and caring for people that is my passion but was on a set salary unless I worked overtime if available. Now I am helping protect families and making great money for myself as well as making sure my family and I are good financially. I am able now to do things that I would not had been able to if I hadn't taken the chance and joined the Hart Group/ American Income Life. The management and all the agents are awesome to work with. We are a family who genuinely cares and supports one another and helps each other grow in this business.

Good potential for growth
With the right amount and type of direction, one can really thrive in this environment. It is very fast paced, and not for the ones who may not have the means or the time to get through the startup process.
