Overall Reviews at Wawa

Customer Service Supervisor | West Chester, PA | Oct 30, 2019
I worked here for almost 4 years and within those 4 years I advanced pretty quickly and even became a night shift supervisor. I had to fight for that position because management hated me for asking questions and having my own opinion. Management does not care about your home life or any problems in your life. They care about numbers and the work schedule line. The pace is and you are over worked because they do not schedule enough people schedule enough people

I worked here throughout high school. It was a great place until the new manager took over. The hours were not the greatest and it was so cold during the winter.
Shift Manager | Somers, CT | Nov 11, 2019
best company
Been here since I was 16 years old and i love it! Living our values daily is what I love most about my company. Moved up internally all the way up to General Manager.
Customer Service Representative | Hampton, VA | Feb 2, 2019
good benefits and compensation but bad hours
fast-paced environment with plenty of advancement opportunity if willing to work all shifts; as management, you can be moved at any time to any store in this area
Prosdecent pay and stock option
Cons24 hour establishment so required to work nights, weekends and holidays
Night Manager | Ephrata, PA | Jan 29, 2019
Management does not appear supportive of encouraging positive work environment and valuing their employees
Not always clear direction of expected tasks. Schedule is set on Sunday for the next day/week - no advance notice or consistency between shift or days worked or days off. Many times expected to work double shift when others call off. The most enjoyable part of the job was the customer interaction. The hardest part of the job was completing all tasks expected when some shifts are more understaffed than others.
ProsEmployee stock option for employees there over one year.
ConsSometimes difficult to get food breaks.

Customer Service Representative | Hammonton, NJ | Nov 7, 2019
Wawa managers play favoritism, if your not a managers pet, then you have tuff time moving up, or getting hours but that was after 18 years service, and I left 2015. So times change and Wawa is great for college students. Or moms

Everything about this position is great unless...
Everything about this position is great unless you’re not planning on moving up. In that case you are looking at mediocre pay and feeling tired a lot. But the upside is when you get into upper management. Benefits, pay, lifestyle, it all becomes very nice and easy at that point.
Customer Service Representative | Mays Landing, NJ | Nov 15, 2019
Great place to work that invest in your future after a long tenure through stock options and 401k
I would recommend this job to people looking for something to hold them over, or move up in management and earn a good paying career. This job is what you put into it.
Customer Service Associate / Cashier | Township of Galloway, NJ | Sep 23, 2018
is a multi culture environment, and a everyday experience, work hour are not satisfying, everyone should be taught all station , in order to function as a full team.

To help customers to realize they need to pay for their deli ticket first while waiting with a WaWa bag in hand. Show a small sign where pick up is located. I noticed that a lot of customers are forgetful.
