Summary:
Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a highly skilled Training Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for asset management and facilities management roles within Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and delivering training strategies tailored to organizational needs, ensuring personnel are fully equipped to operate efficiently within their roles.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage training programs for various roles related to asset management and facilities management.
- Design and deliver both instructor-led and e-learning training materials tailored to specific job functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and align programs with organizational objectives.
- Ensure training programs meet federal guidelines, industry best practices, and Veterans Affairs standards.
- Evaluate and continuously improve training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance data.
- Lead training sessions and workshops, ensuring participants gain practical knowledge and skills for their roles.
- Develop materials such as manuals, guides, videos, and assessments to support ongoing learning and development.
- Mentor and train internal teams and leadership in training management strategies and techniques.
- Stay current with trends in training technologies, methodologies, and compliance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in training management, instructional design, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in developing and managing large-scale training programs, particularly in asset and facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with training software, e-learning platforms, and learning management systems (LMS).
- Possess and maintain an active Public Trust with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
