Description: We at Sodexo are looking to hire 1-2 senior HVAC technicians at our Lake Forest Academy client location site. He or she will be expected to help provide HVAC services for identifying and performing repairs and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment; assisting other skilled maintenance trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job site.
Senior HVAC technicians will work under the guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Manager and be expected to work both independently and collectively with others on the team throughout the school’s 37 multipurpose buildings. The ideal candidate will also have experience including, but not limited to, working within the general trades of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to help assist with various other maintenance needs and requests from the school that the team also is responsible for.
Employment Type: Full time, benefits eligible. 40 hours/week+
Hourly Rate: $25-35/HR+OT
Working Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some weekends around the school event calendar are required, and a rotating on-call schedule that will require availability to respond to emergencies, including nights and weekends.

Experience Required:
- Multiple years working in related HVAC technician role, including general maintenance job responsibilities
- Maintain very high standards for the quality of the work they are performing
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable form of transportation
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- EPA CFC Universal Certificate
